Having passed through the ‘Gate of Death’ and then through the ‘Gate of Elements’ on our journey with Christ-Michael-Vidar into the spiritual world, we get to the ‘Gate of Sun’. There, great mysteries await us – but also a ferocious dragon that seeks to prevent us from passing through this gate properly.
These are real experiences in the spiritual world. But they are also experiences in outer world events, for our inner world and world events are mysteriously connected.
Rudolf Steiner: „…it is called the Gate of Sun, because it is precisely within the forces of the sun that the powers from which the dragon is woven dwell … so, if we do not behold the dragon at the Gate of Sun, then it will devour us, and we will become one with it in the spiritual world. Then we are no longer distinct from the dragon; then we are, in fact, the dragon that experiences the spiritual world.“
